I have heard every sort of pontification on the subject of branding; what it is, what it isn't, what it should be, what it might be...
I even (unwittingly) caught a former President of an ad agency I used to work for, blatantly using the Brand schematic that another agency developed. I checked out their website in the course of researching this agency as we were competitors for a piece of new business. Right there on their website was the goofy “bullseye” branding strategy that this guy had supposedly designed all on his own. I was sure that it was an unwitting duplication of efforts but after I pointed the similarity out to him, he fired me. Oops, guess it was plagiarism after all.
But that is not the point of this post. Instead, I wanted to share with you the best Branding presentation I have ever seen. It’s simple but all-inclusive and extremely well designed. You can find it at www.slideshare.com. Go there now, read it and weep. And wish that you had written it.
